Welcome to the Turnbull BikeRideII CD collection in aid of MENCAP.
This is CD1 of a two CD set.
I hope you enjoy using this very useful CD set and get many years of use from them.
As with any CD collection, I must say that I am eternally grateful to all those who have given their permission to use the software, have answered the pleas and been generally good eggs.
Unfortunately, there were some who requested that none of their software should be included which I have attempted to comply with, if something has slipped through, try ploughing through almost 1.2Gb of files and pluck the odd 80 programs out - not easy!
On with the show.......
This disc just contains FTP sites. I have attempted to keep the site structures the same, but due to restrictions, could not entirely keep it so - this is mainly for the Demon one which has full mirrors of other ftp sites which were pretty pointless to download.
The HENSA directory has also had some cosmetic changes namely in giving programs real names instead of the old B108 type names. HENSA had done most of this, but some still remained.
If some of the archives fail to open, please report them to me and I will create an update floppy (as I did with the Kosovo CD) which again will only be available from me. *To the best of my knowledge* they all work, however, the files were downloaded using a PC at University of Salford, using some pretty duff software (Stuttgart took almost a week to download due to crashes!), so it is unavoidable that some will not have transfered correctly.

It may be worth looking on CD2 under the Websites directory to see if newer versions are available there. Anything by Fortran Friends, Martin Wurthner, StrongED, Zap and GCC should be there.
